Security Certificate

Bizware Online Applications, Inc. operates many websites across the internet, for ourselves and others. Some of the websites that are owned, operated, and maintained by Bizware sell products and/or services across the internet.

In order to accept credit cards for such purchases, we have fielded a secure SSL system of encryption that hides credit card numbers and other sensitive information while it travels from our customer's browser to our secure server. This makes it virtually impossible for anyone on the internet to obtain this information for their personal use.

Our secure server uses a digital certificate (proof that we are handling this sensitive information correctly) from Thawte, a leading company specializing in secure ecommerce transactions. The seal to the right is how you can verify this.

By clicking on it, you send a request directly to Thawte. They check which secure server sent the request (ours) and reply with a quick report. This report begins by stating whether our certificate is valid right now. It also states which organization owns the certificate (Bizware Online Applications, Inc.), how long it's good for, and so on. You can't hurt anything by clicking on it.

Our approach to securing ecommerce transactions conforms to the standards used by almost all companies conducting ecommerce business across the internet.
